What You Experience with Vai tapu
services Includes:
Birth Plan Consultation & Prenatal Preparation | Strategic Navigation & Mapping
You will have the resources to develop birth preferences that match your vision and honor your lineage. Together, we will navigate the clinical landscape, exploring labor positions, comfort measures, and well-pregnancy tips. This is your time to build the confidence and data needed to lead your care team.
3–4 focused prenatal sessions.
Traditional Birth Support | Labor & Birth Attendance
From the moment the "waters" shift until a few hours after you have your baby in your arms, you will have a constant, calming presence. I provide hands-on physical and emotional support—including massage, position changes, and affirmations - while acting as your dedicated advocate in the hospital or home setting to ensure your sovereignty is respected.
Continuous presence from active labor through the immediate postpartum.
Immediate Postpartum Restoration | Reclaiming the Fourth Trimester
After your baby is born, we will gather at your home to check in on your recovery, support the flow of nourishment (nursing/feeding), and honor the memories of your birth. This is about ensuring you feel seen and supported as you integrate your experience.
1–2 dedicated postpartum visits (may vary)
Ongoing Postpartum & Lactation Support |Nutritional Sovereignty & Hands-On Care
You deserve the space to rest and recuperate. I provide hands-on help with newborn care, lactation education, meal planning, and light housekeeping so you can focus on your healing.
